Booking Terms & Conditions

These Booking Terms & Conditions apply when you search for, select and book flights through AirportMix. Please read them carefully before completing a booking.

1. About AirportMix

AirportMix is an online flight search and booking service operated by Compliance Specialist S.L. in Spain. AirportMix helps travellers compare flight options from multiple departure and arrival airports, including nearby airports, and allows selected flights to be booked through AirportMix.

2. How flight bookings work

AirportMix searches available flight offers and presents suitable options based on the search criteria entered by the customer. This may include flights from or to airports near the locations originally searched.

Before payment, you will be shown the itinerary, passenger details and total amount payable. Flight availability and pricing can change until the booking has been successfully confirmed. AirportMix therefore rechecks the selected flight offer before completing the booking.

A booking is only confirmed once the flight booking has been successfully created and AirportMix has provided a booking confirmation.

3. Airline contract

Flights booked through AirportMix are operated by the airline or airlines shown during the booking process. The operation of the flight is subject to the applicable airline’s conditions of carriage, fare rules and other applicable terms.

AirportMix facilitates the search, payment and booking process but does not operate the aircraft or provide the air transport itself. The airline remains responsible for operating the flight in accordance with applicable law.

4. Prices and AirportMix fees

Before payment, AirportMix displays the total amount you will be charged. The total may include the price of the flight and an AirportMix service and booking fee.

Any AirportMix service or booking fee will be included in the total price displayed before you confirm payment. AirportMix will not add an undisclosed AirportMix booking fee after payment has been confirmed.

Flight prices and availability may change between the initial search and checkout. If the selected flight price changes before payment is completed, AirportMix may display the updated price and ask you to review it before proceeding.

5. Passenger information

You are responsible for entering complete and accurate passenger information. Passenger names must match the traveller’s valid travel documents where required.

You must carefully check names, dates of birth, travel dates, routes, airports and any other passenger or booking information before making payment.

Airlines may charge fees for correcting passenger information, and in some cases corrections may not be permitted.

6. Travel documents and entry requirements

Travellers are responsible for ensuring that they have the passports, identity documents, visas, permits and other documentation required for their journey.

Entry, transit, health and documentation requirements may vary depending on nationality, destination, transit location and personal circumstances. Customers should verify applicable requirements with the relevant authorities before travelling.

7. Nearby airports

AirportMix is designed to compare multiple airports. As a result, a flight offered by AirportMix may depart from or arrive at a different airport from the airport originally searched.

The airport and itinerary are displayed before booking. Customers are responsible for checking that the selected departure and arrival airports are suitable for their travel plans, including any transport required to or from those airports.

8. Mix & Match bookings

Some AirportMix results may be identified as Mix & Match. A Mix & Match itinerary may combine an outbound flight and a return flight from different flight offers and may use different airports or airlines.

Where AirportMix clearly identifies an itinerary as consisting of separate bookings, the outbound and return flights are booked separately. This means you may receive separate airline booking references and different fare conditions may apply to each booking.

A change, cancellation, delay or disruption affecting one separate booking does not automatically change or cancel the other booking. Any refund, change or cancellation rights are assessed separately according to the applicable fare conditions and applicable law.

Please check the airports, airlines and individual flight details carefully before confirming a Mix & Match booking.

Before proceeding with a Mix & Match booking, AirportMix clearly informs you that the itinerary consists of separate flight bookings.

You will be required to actively confirm that you understand that the outbound and return flights are booked separately, may have separate airline booking references, and may be subject to different fare, change and cancellation conditions. You cannot proceed with the Mix & Match booking until this confirmation has been provided.

This confirmation is intended to ensure that the separate nature of the bookings is clearly understood before you proceed. It does not limit or waive any mandatory consumer or passenger rights available to you under applicable law.

9. Changes and cancellations requested by you

Whether a booking can be changed or cancelled depends on the fare conditions applicable to the flight and the airline’s rules. Some fares may be non-refundable or non-changeable, while others may allow changes or cancellations subject to a fee or fare difference.

If you wish to change or cancel a booking, contact AirportMix at info@airportmix.com. We will check the available options and applicable conditions for your booking.

Do not assume that a booking has been cancelled or changed until you have received confirmation.

10. Airline changes, delays and cancellations

Airlines may change flight schedules, delay flights or cancel flights. Where we receive information concerning a material change to your booking, we will take reasonable steps to communicate it using the contact details provided with your booking.

Your rights when an airline delays, cancels or materially changes a flight are governed by the applicable airline rules and applicable passenger-rights legislation. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.

11. Refunds

Refund eligibility depends on the circumstances of the cancellation or change, the applicable fare conditions and any rights available under applicable law.

Where a refund is approved, AirportMix will process the amount due to the customer using an appropriate payment method. Processing times may depend on the airline, payment provider and banking system.

For Mix & Match bookings, refund eligibility may be different for each separate booking.

12. Payment

Payments on AirportMix are processed securely using third-party payment infrastructure. AirportMix does not store full payment card details on its own servers.

A payment may initially be authorised before the corresponding flight booking is completed. If a booking cannot be completed, the payment authorisation may be cancelled or released where applicable. The time required for an authorisation to disappear from your account may depend on your bank or card issuer.

13. Booking confirmation

After a successful booking, AirportMix sends a booking confirmation to the email address supplied during checkout. The confirmation may contain an AirportMix reference, airline booking reference, passenger information and itinerary details.

Please review the confirmation immediately and contact us as soon as possible if you believe any information is incorrect.

If you cannot find your confirmation email, please check your spam or junk folder before contacting support.

14. Baggage, seats and additional services

Baggage allowances, seat selection, meals and other optional services vary by airline and fare. Only services specifically shown as included in your selected booking should be assumed to be included.

15. Our responsibility

AirportMix is responsible for providing its booking service with reasonable care and in accordance with applicable law.

AirportMix is not the operator of the flights displayed or booked through the service and is not responsible for operating the aircraft. Airlines remain responsible for the performance of the air transport services they operate.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law, nor does it affect mandatory consumer or passenger rights.

16. Events outside our control

Travel may be affected by circumstances outside AirportMix’s reasonable control, including severe weather, air traffic restrictions, strikes, airport disruption, government action, security incidents or other extraordinary circumstances.

Your rights in such circumstances will depend on the applicable law, airline rules and the circumstances of the disruption.

17. Privacy

Personal data required to search for and complete bookings is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Certain information must be shared with service providers and airlines where necessary to search for, process and manage a booking.

18. Applicable law

These Terms are governed by Spanish law, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that may apply under the laws of your country of residence.

Nothing in these Terms prevents a consumer from relying on mandatory rights or dispute-resolution mechanisms available under applicable law.
